Sculpture Chair
I’ve known quite a few sculptors with furniture fetishes. I hear that it’s the same for architects and industrial designers. At it’s core, it’s an understanding the figure thing and how to comfortably accommodate it’s shapes. It’s anybody’s bet after that. I’ve created many odd pieces of furniture, of all of them. this has the most interesting moments. It’s very architectural with it’s columns, buttresses, arches and ogee’s. It certainly has the most big holes punched through it.
